Well, I hated almost everything in this episode. Brady and Nicole are awful. She is tiptoeing around like a woman afraid to trigger her abusive partner. If this was a well done triangle, we would feel some conflict about who she should be with; I just want to tell her to run as fast as she can away from Brady and his serious rage issues. Hope and Rafe are awful- no chemistry, awkward and boring. KA needs to stop trying so hard, it's painful to watch. Kate and Andre are awful AND pointless- watching them just makes me angry that my time is wasted on them and I haven't seen S & K in a week. I wouldn't say no to Gabi and Eli down the road, but I need a break from her right now, and I'd like them to develop his character a bit more- he's capable and pretty! This was the episode of bad pairings, but at least there was beautiful GV to look at.

Hope calms Rafe down about Eli. He says Hattie got played by Anjelica

I have no idea how he knows that
Rafe is pissed at Eli for shooting Raines while he held Gabi hostage and thinks he should be fired.
Would he feel that way if it had been anyone else? Would Rafe have been ok with Raines shooting Gabi point blank with all 3 of them standing there doing nothing? Rafe should be grateful that Gabi is safe and unharmed.
I still like Rafe but I wish they would stop writing him as an asshole. He and Eli do have something in common. They were both fired by the FBI.They are also likely to have something else in common.Being hired by SPD although I hope they have him join Blackpatch so we don't have another police officer with questionable ethics when his friends, lovers, and family commit crimes.

I was thinking about what Hope said about how the Paulson wedding would be hard for the Bradys. Like someone else said, what Bradys? Will wasn't close to Hope or Kayla, Sami and Caroline are gone. The only one onscreen he had a relationship with for years was Roman. I wished they'd phrased it as "Will's family" instead then it could've included Lucas's meltdown, Kate's resistance to Paulson originally, Marlena, etc.

I don't really blame Brady for being jealous when it comes to Eric given the history Nicole has with Eric and his own history with Nicole and other women. It also does not help that Eric has been coming to Nicole's rescue since he returned to Salem and all of the soulful looks he has been directing her way.The fact that he is having romantic fantasies about Nicole speaks volumes. It is not as if Brady is totally off base about Eric wanting Nicole despite the fact that she is with Brady.

It's especially frustrating because S/K were in the middle of a story yet we probably won't see them again until the wedding celebrations.

Part of me would like to see them more but I haven't really enjoyed their last few episodes so maybe it's not a bad idea that they get over what happened with Joey and Tripp off screen. Maybe they will get a new story in a few weeks that has nothing to do with Ava, that would be a nice change.

I like the family drama and I don't like when we're supposed to accept stuff happening offscreen. I prefer their family stuff than some of the OTT stuff we've been getting. Ron has left them in limbo. Are they split? Did Kayla kick Steve out or is she staying at the hospital? Who knows and the next time we see them a lot will be swept under the rug.

As for new story. Yeah, that's not happening anytime soon.

Totally agree. Using the Bradys there made no sense

That was nice. I really enjoyed Doug and Julie interacting with Eric. Has that ever happened before? I think Brady is acting over the top and like a complete asshole. I like what Ron has done for Nicole, but I hate how he's destroyed Breric. It is at least nice to see Nicole kind of pining for Eric even if she's pretending it's about the center. I also didn't like that Brady made that comment about Eric wanting Nicole and it's just a given. It feels invasive to me. Besides Eric has never actually done anything to make Brady think he would EVER EVER go after Nicole. And knowing Eric the way he does he should know Eric doesn't operate like that. I guess it's really Nicole he doesn't trust, but his actions are just so repulsive to me. And I am a big time Brady supporter. But he is being horrible right now.
The Brady believing that Eric will always want Nicole thing makes me annoyed all over that when Bricole got together this last time, the Eric issue was never addressed. Brady should have thought about what being with Nicole would mean to his relationship with his brother. Instead, a previous scene about Brady trying to balance his relationships to Nicole and Eric was repurposed as a flashback supposedly about how Bricole were meant to be. Nicole should have thought about the consequences to playing family with Brady while purporting to despise Eric. Instead, she had absolutely inane dialog about how being with Brady meant she would never have to think about Eric (Brady's brother!) ever again.

I know, that was Dena making a mess and this is Ron trying to climb out of a mess. I just hope that after this story utterly destroys Breric, there's another story that puts them back together.
I could care less about who Brady or Nicole love, the have shown time and time again that they can and do jump from lover to lover. What bugs me more than ever is that Eric is never written to move forward or past his love or relationship with Nicole. Serena is the only one he attempted to be with & that was more anger driven because of what Nicole did. I might have enjoyed this triangle a bit more if Eric wasn't represented as the heartbroken odd man out longing for a woman he cannot have. If Brady wasn't turned into a jealous psycho and I could believe that Nicole & Brady were actually in love.
Perhaps when Eric has been on screen for the same amount of time as Brady and Nicole have been you'll get your wish.

Well, I'll say this for Rope. They weren't the worst part of the episode. The "DiMeras" are just a mess. And Abby as mediator makes them even worse.

I enjoyed Doug and Julie....but Julie's about face really made no sense. She and Eli were cute though.

No one ever references knowing Eric as a child.

There are some things going on with Nicole now that I think are nice, but I hate how meek she is with Brady.

Well. This episode was basically boring filler.

The Dimera stuff is just...stupid. I don't care about DiMera Enterprises, and now I have to watch Abby serve as a mediator between Chad/Andre and Andre/Kate? Uh...no thanks. I really don't understand what they're trying to accomplish with this story. They've somehow taken a boring concept and made it even more stale by draining any potential drama out of it by resolving these dilemmas in one episode or less.

The Hope and Rafe stuff was the only story with any sense of "movement" to it. The problem is, thanks to Kristian's social media, I basically know that Hope/Rafe are still together six months from now. If I didn't see that stuff, I may have believed that Hope/Rafe were headed for some kind of breakup after this episode.

The Eli/Gabi stuff was okay, but I didn't notice much chemistry.

The Eric/Nicole/Brady stuff is tiresome. Brady was less of an ass than I was expecting, but he was still an ass. This story may have semi-worked a few years ago, but it just feels like they're trying to play a story that's past its expiration date.

Nicole makes a sacrifice for Brady.

Chad, Andre and Kate clash over DiMera.

Julie catches Eli and Gabi in a compromising position.

Rafe questions Hope about her reluctance to get married right away.
Phloe, I miss them and love them so much :'( I at least hope they would be given a chance together with proper adult writing in the near future.
